In the context of a cooperative project between Kaimann GmbH and the mechanical engineering department at the Richard-von-Weizsäcker-Berufskolleg, Bachelor Professional students successfully presented their design concepts of a mixing-conveyor line. Kaimann had requested the students to find a new solution to the process of mixing and conveying shredded rubber materials with the aim of increasing productivity in the manufacturing of insulation sheets and tubes.
Sebastian Mailänder (Kaimann GmbH) and teachers of the RvWBK, Thomas Kruse, Julian Scharfen, Katharina Dibblee and Simone Münker were there to listen to the presentations and to give feedback on the design concepts. The final developments and designs of the mixing-conveyor line will be presented in December 2022.
The picture below shows the design concept created by Rick Düsterhaus, Jan Schulte, Lucas Willeke and Lucas Winkler, students of the TMV12.
